DESCRIPTION:Learn the basics to start using the Workshop!\n\n\nOur Workshop Safety Class is FREE for current members.  If you plan to sign up for a membership the day of the class\, we will discount the class fee towards your membership.  If you are a current member\, please email us at Carlisletoollibrary@gmail.com to let us know you are coming! \nWorkshop Basics teaches you how to safely use the primary professional shop tools: the Miter Saw\, Band Saw\, Scroll Saw\, and Drill Press. With this class\, you’ll learn the rules of the shop\, how to respect the tools\, and the skills to take your projects to the next level. This class is your ticket to utilizing our shop to build your own projects. \nThis class also teaches Shop Safety\, which is required to use these tools during shop open hours and a prerequisite to more advanced classes. All other tools in our shop are available upon request with one on one training. These include our Table Saw\, Joiner\, Planer\, Router\, and Sander. \nAges 18 and up.
